When there is a suspicious device showing up in your 2.4ghz spectrum, you can bet there is another Wi-Spy user who can help you identify what it may be. The community on the forums here at MetaGeek.net is great, simply click the send recording button in your Chanalyzer software!

Here are a couple examples of the Wi-Spy community helping others:
Greek Mystery Device
Capture with external directional 20dbi grid antenna.
Local AP at channel 5, some distant APs at channel 6 and channel 11.
UK Mystery Device
One device creating this signature has been identified as a Philips
SLV5400 Wireless TV link. Please submit recordings of other 2.4GHz
wireless TV links, if you have one.
