Inssider Interface
Inssider is a simple software tool that allows the user to visually see all wireless traffic. It graphs the signal strength along a timeline of each WLAN in a visual, simple-to-understand format.
Each network will be displayed with its corresponding information horizontally. When running in Windows Vista, it displays the MAC address, SSID, channel, signal strength, security and speed.
Once a row or broadcast signal is selected, a much bolder line will represent it in the timeline. You can alternate lines by selecting the signal in the rows above, similar to this:
Signals can also be sorted by name, strength and speed by clicking the column buttons at the top of the table.
If you wish to change how the data is presented, you can adjust the size by dragging the middle bar up or down or by enlarging the window. Another useful option is located in Edit > Preferences. There you choose when inactive networks will be dropped from the table.
