MetaGeek implemented a great new feature to Chanalyzer 3.0, and it continues to improve with our growing collection of device signatures that we, or our faithful Wi-Spy Community have collected and shared with us.

Every wireless device makes a unique signature. The above image was recorded next to an 802.11b/g router, and the signal based on the average of amplitude and frequency results in the above signature. There are many more device signatures for you to explore with your Wi-Spy 2.4x. We have prepared sample recordings for your review, simply download and run in Chanalyzer 3.0.
