What's the difference between Wi-Spy and Wi-Spy 2.4x?

Wi-Spy 2.4x has 3 times the frequency resolution, 3 times the amplitude resolution, 2 times the amplitude and has an external antenna connector allowing high gain or directional antennas.

When will Wi-Spy 2.4x have Mac OS X support?

Wi-Spy 2.4x is currently supported by Chanalyzer for Windows, Cookware's Eakiu for Mac OSX, and Mike Kershaw's Linux tools.

What about a Wi-Spy for 900 MHz and 5 GHz?

MetaGeek is currently working on a 5 GHz spectrum analyzer which they plan to release in April 2008. In the meantime we are focusing on making Wi-Spy the best 2.4 GHz spectrum analyzer available.
