Error on Scan: "Index was outside the bounds of the array."

When attempting to scan, I get the following error details, before the app closes/restarts:

(I don't know if this is relevant, but I received an Error Code 2755 on my first attempt installing the software. It installed fine after rebooting my system).

Operating System: Windows XP Service Pack 3

.NET version: .NET v2.0 installed (after the SP3 update)

(Dell Driver installed and active -- Microsoft WZC is not)
