SSID - help me1

hi
I get a wireless net but i can´t get its name.
Using the inssider program, the NAME i get is "[Unknown]". My question (and probably will sound stupid)is this: could this be the real name of the network? Or is it just the "insider" telling that the network CAN´T BE recognized ?! But this program was´t supposed to do that?! ...Please help!:P
Other thing i don´t understand is the Speed. i get zero...

I often met such "unknown" networks. They usually use hidden SSID name as a parol for entering network.
Most likely they are not broadcasting the SSID, the name that identifies the access point, InSSIDer will know there is one there, and what the MAC address is. But it wil not capture the SSID.
Some people do try to be sneaky by naming it "unknown" but I doubt it is the case.
