Very difficult solution SORRY

I'm very sorry I did not realize I posted an empty message.

Problem:

  • During a site survay I analized with wi-spy the RF spectrum and I found the problem attacched.
  • I was using an AP aironet 1100b/g on RF channel 7, with the AP on channe 7 I wasn't able to connect the AP.
  • I used an Aironet 350 card and also an Centrino Intel 3945ABG net.

Can someone recognise tho orignin of the disturb attacched?

thanks

Sorry about the delay getting back to this thread. At this point, I
really can't guess what the source of that interference is. I'd love
to get a recording of it posted in the library and see what other folks
think.

Hi,
you can't see the AP on channell 7 because when i used wispy the ap was switched off.

The noise looks like an AP but is very high level and constant, normali the AP has not so constant level,
The AVG is very high. I also used NetStumbler and no APs were detected.

Thanks
FX

Welcome to metageek.net. I'm sorry about the forum. It gives me
trouble on a daily basis, as well. We are looking into alternatives.

The
screenshot you posted looks like a 802.11g network on channel 3. I
don't see any evidence of your AP on channel 7. Channels 3 and 7
overlap a little bit, so if that network on channel 3 is really busy,
it could cause a problem for the network on channel 7. If you can post
or email a 5-10 minute recording of your environment, I can probably
tell you more.

I have some problems with my Laptop, The formun seems not working well withmy LapTop, SORRY.

I try again to attach the file.

The noise you can see is constant and very high.

Thanks
FX
