Has anyone got the 3D to work in Windows Pro SP3? Perhaps if we state which systems it works with, and which it doesn't, that will help narrow down the issue, which seems to be unknown at this point.

To me it seems like a driver issue. I have a Dell Inspiron 700m laptop, and DirectX works fine, but the 3D View is blank. At first I thought I had a USB conflict, so I uninstalled all my USB drivers and reinstalled, but had the same issue. Anyone have this working?

I'm having the same problem. DirectX 9.0c installed now and verified with dxdiag in run box:

System:
XP Home SP3
DirectX 9.0c

Symptoms:
2D works, 3D shows an empty graph.

Any news on what this is and when it might be fixed? Can we revert to an older DirectX install?

Unfortunately the downloaded DirectX version had no impact.
I've also upgraded Chanalizer Lite to version 1.0.4.0702 but still no 3D data...

Do you have such a PC displaying the same problem in your lab? If not and you have some debug tools that one could use to test for you guys please use me!

Hi JL,The only way that we have re-created this problem is when we had the wrong direct 3D version installed. It has to do with some earlier versions of 9.0c and the managed framework not supporting meshes. When you installed the new version of the direct 3D runtime, did you re-enable the 3D view under the view menu? When you do re-enable, you will have to restart the application.I hope this helps.Steve

Still doesn't display any 3D data. Here's a shortened dxdiag output.

Is there any version of Chanalyzer Lite that can be used to grab debug information (command line switch or something)? It's annoying because I have friends that I'd like to show this too so they can get their own Wi-Spy 2.4i, it doesn't give a good impression for you when I tell them one of the main features is broken and that others are having the same problem...

Just to add, maybe this is relevant but I do not have a Wi-Fi network and the laptop has no W-Fi adapter. I'm using Wi-Spy 2.4i to look for other things in the 2.4GHz band so I can eventually choose a Wi-Fi channel thats as immune to interference as possible.

Is having no Wi-Fi adapter relevant to 3D viewing?
