    Default average Vs. noise floor

    Hello,

What is the difference/ relationship between the "average" and "noise floor" field shown under the "Channels Table" tab?

    Thanks very much.

    Regards,

    Peng

And more specifically, how are they calculated?

    Thanks very much.

    Hi Peng,

The noise floor is the average RSSI across a Wi-Fi Channel. The average is the average power across the the entire channel (keep in mind this number is converted back into power and then averaged so it has higher amplitude levels).
