Question Got my wi-sPYx but cant see any results

    Chaps,
I need some help. Compaq 6910p,Win XP SP3, Chanalyser 4.0.6.1229 installed and a wi-sPY 2.4x onboard. When I launch the Chanalyser I'm seeing no waterfall or density screens, just the local AP's around me, so I guess the USB unit isn't being recognised.I have checked on other ports (same error which is USB device not recognised) and my .NET framework is 3.5 at least, maybe 4 (I have these both when looking at the Add/Remove Software on my laptop).

Any ideas? I'm sure I had this working before and I know there is/are no external drivers required for the unit

    Thanks in advance

Yes, email is the best way to reach us.

Sometimes in a case like this, you may need to go into your device manager, and completely remove the Wi-Spy. The Wi-Spy will be in the HID list. Uninstall it completely, and let Windows reinstall the device before initialising Chanalyzer. Also, please try to use the Wi-Spy on another computer to determine if the unit itself is faulty.
