    Hello,

    I did a quick test on my MAC and both version of 2.4x hardware was detected and worked with Chanalyzer for MAC. I was wondering if you might have USB prober installed on your MAC. I am wondering if the MAC recognizes the 2.4x

    I am seeing the same issue. I have a new MacBook Pro and I can not use my wispy 2.4x in it. When I look at dmesg on my Mac it says:

    USBF: 45466.710 [0xffffff80140f5c00] The IOUSBFamily is having trouble enumerating a USB device that has been plugged in. It will keep retrying. (Port 3 of Hub at 0xfa100000)
    USBF: 45469.709 [0xffffff80140f5c00] The IOUSBFamily was not able to enumerate a device.
    USBF: 45470.551 [0xffffff80140f5c00] The IOUSBFamily is having trouble enumerating a USB device that has been plugged in. It will keep retrying. (Port 3 of Hub at 0xfa100000)
    USBF: 45473.950 [0xffffff80140f5c00] The IOUSBFamily was not able to enumerate a device.
    USBF: 45474.776 [0xffffff80140f5c00] The IOUSBFamily is having trouble enumerating a USB device that has been plugged in. It will keep retrying. (Port 3 of Hub at 0xfa100000)
    USBF: 45475.607 [0xffffff80140f5c00] The IOUSBFamily gave up enumerating a USB device after 10 retries. (Port 3 of Hub at 0xfa100000)
    USBF: 45475.607 [0xffffff80140f5c00] The IOUSBFamily was not able to enumerate a device.

    And just for verification that there is not something wrong with my wispy, I plugged this in to my linux notebook (Lenovo T400 running Ubuntu 11.04 64bit) and it works, or at least dmesg finds it as a USB devices and maps it correctly.

    Doh, I have 6 notebook in the house and not one of them runs Windows. About the best I can do is try and pass it in to a VM running Windows. I installed Chanalyzer 4 in a Windows VM and I guess it sort of works, but it is really limited. How can I get this working on my Mac natively?

    When you say Chanalyzer in windows is limited? Are the results sporadic? Can you provide a screenshot of the Mac version and a screenshot of the windows version with the Wi-Spy plugged in?

    I have just bought a 2.4x and mine does not work in my Lion MAC; which is very disappointing.

    Do you know when this will be fixed or is there a work around?
