Which version of Wi-spy Chanalyzer can I use for Windows 7? thanks

Hey Scoob,

Thank you for your post. All versions of Chanalyzer (Chanalyzer 4, Pro, Lite, and Lab) are compatible with Windows 7 (Except, obviously, Chanalyzer for MAC). However, depending on your Wi-Spy device, the device may not be compatible with the Chanalyzer software.

Here is a quick list of hardware compatibility:
Chanalyzer 4 supports: Wi-Spy 2.4x and Wi-Spy DBx
Chanalyzer Pro supports: Wi-Spy 2.4x and Wi-Spy DBx
Chanalyzer Lite supports: Wi-Spy 2.4i
Chanalyzer Lab supports: Wi-Spy 900x, Wi-Spy 2.4x and Wi-Spy DBx

If you have a Wi-Spy classic, it is compatible with older versions of Chanalyzer, though we no longer host older versions of Chanalyzer for download. There are discounts available, however, for you to upgrade from the Wi-Spy classic to a newer Wi-Spy model.

Can you provide details on said discounts? I too have a classic model, and am somewhat disappointed that it's no longer being supported...

If you have a Wi-Spy classic, it is compatible with older versions of Chanalyzer, though we no longer host older versions of Chanalyzer for download. There are discounts available, however, for you to upgrade from the Wi-Spy classic to a newer Wi-Spy model.

I found a d/l link for Chanalyzer 2.1, which to my understanding is the last version to work with Wi-Spy Classic.

I downloaded it and was able to run it on a Windows2000 machine, but I can't seem to get it to work on Windows 7.

Can you tell me if Wi-Spy Classic will work on Windows 7?

I even tried the older version (1.0) in a virtual XP box on Win7 and it wouldn't recognize the Classic Wi-Spy for some reason.
