    Default Device locator

I have a wi-spy dbx and am thinking of buying your directional antenna to use with it, but from reading so far it looks like I've got to buy the pro version of chanalyzer to get the device locator function. If correct, this seems rather mean... couldn't you put that seemingly basic feature in the free version of your software? Thanks.

You can still use the device finder with Chanalyzer 4. You'll notice the changes in amplitude over time in the waterfall view. As a signal gets a higher power level reading it will appear more red over time. The device finder is strictly a directional antenna. Chanalyzer cannot detect when the antenna has changed on the Wi-Spy.

The finder tool is only meant to highlight the more-subtle changes in amplitude levels.

Thanks for the reply Trent. Could I request Metageek consider adding the finder tool to the free version of Chanalyzer please? No need to reply yes/no to me here.
