Default Audial feedback of signal strength to help positioning AP/aerials

It would be a great feature to be able to select a specific access point and have inSSIDer play back a simple sine sound where the frequency (or optionally amplitude) gives a direct feedback on the received signal strength. This could be used to help optimally position a router / access point and align its aerials across rooms.

For instance play a sine sound with frequencies between say 50Hz and 1kHz, the stronger the signal, the higher the pitch.

Hey andiklein; I think this is a great idea
I just think that 50Hz is a bit low for PC / laptop
    speakers

    cheers

Yeah, I think 50Hz is too low, but I think 200Hz to 1kHz would work though. That would give you 800Hz dynamic range for ~70dBm amplitude range, which would be about 11.4Hz per dBm.
