To be honest, I've never read any of Paul Ockenden's articles before. Maybe that's because he's a UK-based writer and PCPro.co.uk is just not on my radar. But, I can tell that I like him already. Why? Because when it comes to Wi-Fi, he "gets it"!

Ockenden really lays it out well in this article and explains the problems and solutions when dealing with Wi-Fi in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. He also gives nice plugs for inSSIDer and Wi-Spy... gotta love that :-).

Chanalyzer 3.3 has been going strong for a year now, and the last update in September fixed the few outstanding bugs that caused crashes. The past few months we've been heads-down on the next version of Chanalyzer, but there were a few features that we wanted to get in the hands of users now so we took a break from working on the next version to work on Chanalyzer 3.4. Here's a quick overview of what's new... let us know what you think!

Thanks to everyone for sending us recordings to check out. As a Wi-Spy owner, you've seen some pretty odd things in the public ISM bands. Doesn't it feel great knowing that you can see what these devices actually look like in the infisible RF space, while so many other people have no idea? Many of you have taken the time to email us a recording of these devices-so I'm sharing some with you right now.
