What is new in Chanalyzer 3.0 Beta?

Chanalyzer 3.0 Beta adds the following features:

  • Device Identification Stencils
  • Notes in recordings
  • Data Inspector (detailed information about frequency, amplitude, etc)
  • Easier cropping and saving of recordings
  • Enhanced playback controls

How do I access the raw data from a recording?

  • There's a link on our download page, for a perl script that will
    translate the wsr file here: http://metageek.net/support/downloads
    It is called wsr2cvs and it will convert the wsr to a cvs.

Why doesn't Chanalyzer tell me what each device is like Inssider?

  • We are currently making Chanalyzer capable of interpreting the local Wi-Fi, but for now Chanalyzer 3.0 Beta 3 includes tools that will help recognize the shapes of certain device signatures.
